We've been talking a lot about ZIBBCOT (the Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary: Old Testament), but we haven't said a lot about the lifestyle that enabled general editor John Walton to bring this project to fruition. That's why we made this video. You may be surprised to learn that it involved commuting by camel, special PB & J sandwiches, and more!

I love it!

Presumably, John was circumcised on the 8th day, too. If not...ouch!

Alright, it's funny (sort of), I guess. I trust the commentary work isn't as sophomoric as the commercial.
I wonder who Zondervan thinks the audience for this video is... and whether they are impressed. At best, I think it is pointless and silly; at worst, it diminishes the editor and his work. While I have greatly respected John and value much of his work, this one won't likely hit my shelf.
Brand me as someone without a sense of humor in this if you'd like, but I'm not sure how this complements the likely objective of the work.
