¿Can a God of love send me to hell?

Simple, but one preconception I have encountered as an opposition to the gospel is this: "It just isn't right that God the Father allowed them to do what they did to Jesus the son in crucifying him upon the cross. As a little boy when I heard that idea I was done with Christianity."
One myth I've actually heard: "Men have one less rib than women."
Another myth: "If evolution is not true then where did we come from."

During a witnessing encounter recently with an EX-evangelical bapsist she shared several things with me why she couldn't ever become a Christian:
1. Christians are so obsessed with sexual purity that they demand rape victims to repent.
2. The Gospel stories are based off of roman and greek stories.
3. Having a personal relationship with Jesus gives persons a reason to not use their mind in everday life and ignore sound reason and logic.

Why do wealthy North American Christians largely continue to ignore basic needs of the developing world?

A coworker of mine firmly believes that if you simply believe something enough, or that if enough people believe it it will be true regardless of current circumstances and/or situations. Of course he also believes that as long as you remain true to what you believe then what you believe doesn't matter since all roads lead to God, and also "the Bible is a good book,I just don't think its right" Likes to reference a movie called "Down the Rabbit Hole"
